While our political leaders are making merry with their power, the enemy is, like Hannibal and his elephants heading for Rome across the Alps, marching ever closer. We, like the people of ancient Babylon, sit by and watch helplessly as our leaders gloat and make merry.

Unfortunately, we are ignoring the elephant that is already in the room, - the Fabians.

The Fabian Society derives its name from the Roman general Quintus FabiusRoman general Quintus Fabius, known for his strategy of delaying his attacks on the invading Carthaginians until the right moment. The name Fabian Society was explained in the first Fabian pamphlet which carried the note:

“For the right moment you must wait, as Fabius did most patiently, when warring against Hannibal, though many censured his delays; but when the time comes you must strike hard, as Fabius did, or your waiting will be in vain, and fruitless.”

The latest world leader to join the ranks of Fabian leaders has just been elected.

Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labour Party in the United Kingdom since April 2020, is an enthusiastic member of the Fabian Society. As the new Prime Minister, his policies and approach to leadership reflect the Fabian Society's principles of gradual and reformist socialism. Starmer has participated in events and discussions organised by the society and has been influenced by its ideas and research.

He has written papers on this subject, including one titled "  The Road Ahead ", penned in 2021. You can learn more about the Fabian Manifesto here.

Australia's past leader Julia Gillard is a member, as is New Zealand's Jacinda Ardern. Anthony Albanese is a Fabian, as are Bill Shorten. Penny Wong and Dan Andrews.

So what is Fabianism and where did it come from?

My thanks to Flysa for his knowledge and the opportunity to use his words in the compilation of this piece. Below are extracts from his original article  published here last year.

In 1884, middle class “intellectuals” in England established the Fabian Society dedicated to the achievement of the Communist State as proposed by Karl Marx, not by violence as advocated by him, but by gradual attrition as practiced by Quintus Fabius Maximus. The original emblem, now no longer used, was a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

Early influential members included the playwright G B Shaw; Eleanor Marx (daughter of Karl); socialist activists Sydney and Beatrice Webb; prolific author H G Wells whose works included the War of the Worlds (1897) and A Modern Utopia (1905), which described a World State where all ownership of property was vested in the State, which was and is the Fabian’s mantra; and sexologist Havelock Ellis.

The Fabians’ creed was that land and capital must be nationalised from landlords and capitalists. The society’s original charter stated:

It therefore aims at the reorganization of Society by the emancipation of Land and Industrial Capital from individual and class ownership, and the vesting of them in the community for the general benefit.

In this way only can the natural and acquired advantages of the country be equitably shared by the whole people.

The Society accordingly works for the extinction of private property in Land and of the consequent individual appropriation, in the form of Rent, of the price paid for permission to use the earth, as well as for the advantages of superior soils and sites.

The Fabians initiated the formation of the British Labour Party in 1900 after failing to infiltrate the conservative Tories.  This led to the Australian Labor Party which is dominated today by the Fabians.

Later well-known and influential Fabian authors were Aldous Huxley: Brave New World (1932), George Orwell: Animal Farm (1945) &Nineteen Eighty-Four(1949); and Julian Huxley (brother of Aldous) and first Director-General of Unesco.

However, the Fabians deviously misrepresent their true purpose.

They are not for equal rights for all races but are a society of the privileged middle class who hate and seek the overthrow of the conservative capitalists and despise the working class which they originally referred to as residuum, which is Latin for leftover waste.

They seek to limit white numbers by legalised abortion and euthanasia, and have Asians and other non-whites as their replacement. They were originally pro-white “racists” after Galton, but soon changed tack when they were unable to win over the Tories, and realised that the replacement of the white race by the Asians and the other non-whites was the way to go.

Huxley and Orwell in their works warned of dystopian one dictator societies which the Fabians ostensibly sought to avoid, but in fact that is precisely the long-term goal of the Fabians, with themselves as the dictators.

Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Matthew 7:15-16.

It is instructive to consider their writings.

Sidney Webb

In Great Britain at this moment, when half, or perhaps two-thirds, of all the married people are regulating their families, children are being freely born to the Irish Catholics and the Polish, Russian and German Jews, on the one hand, and to the thriftless and irresponsible — largely the casual laborers and the other denizens of the one-roomed tenements of our great cities — on the other. (1907)

Havelock Ellis

The superficially sympathetic man flings a coin to the beggar; the more deeply sympathetic man builds an almshouse for him so that he need no longer beg; but perhaps the most radically sympathetic of all is the man who arranges that the beggar shall not be born. So it is the question of breed, the production of fine individuals, the elevation of the ideal of quality in human production over that of mere quantity, begins to be seen, not merely as a noble idea in itself, but as the only method by which Socialism can be enabled to continue on its present path. (1913)

Sidney and Beatrice Webb

To secure for the workers by hand or by brain the full fruits of their industry and the most equitable distribution thereof that may be possible upon the basis of the common ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange, and the best obtainable system of popular administration and control of each industry or service. (1913)

George Bernard Shaw

The moment we face it frankly we are driven to the conclusion that the community has a right to put a price on the right to live in it … If people are fit to live, let them live under decent human conditions. If they are not fit to live, kill them in a decent human way. Is it any wonder that some of us are driven to prescribe the lethal chamber as the solution for the hard cases which are at present made the excuse for dragging all the other cases down to their level, and the only solution that will create a sense of full social responsibility in modern populations (1934)

Julian Huxley

The moral for UNESCO is clear. The task laid upon it of promoting peace and security can never be wholly realised through the means assigned to it - education, science and culture. It must envisage some form of world political unity, whether through a single world government or otherwise;& the only certain means for avoiding war.

and

At the moment, it is probable that the indirect effect of civilisation is dysgenic instead of eugenic; and in any case it seems likely that the dead weight of genetic stupidity, physical weakness, mental instability, and disease-proneness, which already exist in the human species, will prove too great a burden for real progress to be achieved. Thus even though it is quite true that any radical eugenic policy will be for many years politically and psychologically impossible, it will be important for Unesco to see that the eugenic problem is examined with the greatest care and that the public mind is informed of the issues at stake so that much that now is unthinkable may at least become thinkable. (1946)

Following WWII, the Fabian Labour Prime Minister Clement Attlee who succeeded Winston Churchill seized the opportunity and introduced the British Nationality Act 1948 which created the status of "Citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies" as the national citizenship of the United Kingdom and its colonies. This led to the flooding of the United Kingdom by hundreds of thousands of Indians, Pakistanis and West Indians.  The Act has since been repealed, but the damage has been done by the Fabians striking a major blow following 50 years of attrition.

In Australia since WWII, practically all Labor leaders have been Fabians including Arthur Caldwell, Gough Whitlam, Paul Keating, Bob Hawke, Julia Gillard, Bill Shorten, Bob Carr, Neville Wran, Bill Hayden, John Cain, Don Dunstan, John Bannon, Penny Wong, Daniel Andrews, and Anthony Albanese. In addition, Fabian middle-class leaders at the Universities and other institutions number in the hundreds, if not thousands.

The result is suburbs with hardly a white to be seen, legalised abortion, legally recognised homosexual marriages, a generation of children without any knowledge of history, closed churches, erosion of moral standards, and the general populace having been treated like sheep during the recent COVID epidemic.

At the end of the day, the Fabians will ensure the end of our Christian civilisation by having substituted a weak replacement lacking moral fibre, which will be easy for the heathen to gobble up. That is their plan. They have legalised abortion and sodomy, both serious crimes until recently, and with the so-called “Voice”, which would have destroyed our Constitution.

Yet still they march relentlessly on.  I come back to our opening words:

“For the right moment you must wait, as Fabius did most patiently, when warring against Hannibal, though many censured his delays; but when the time comes you must strike hard, as Fabius did, or your waiting will be in vain, and fruitless.”

I fear, most gravely, that their wait is coming to an end and they are about to strike and strike hard. We have felt their boot on our throats for some years now and I fear that we are about to feel its full power.

As our rights are disappearing and our hopes of normality are disappearing at an alarming rate, surely it is time to open our eyes and see that the enemy is at the gate.

We have had enough warnings....... can we please get back to appreciating what we have and start protecting who we are and what we have?
