In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1

Words have become corrupted and their meanings changed and manipulated.

"Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. "John 17:17.

We have heard much about the number 17 for those who are followers of Q. To those of you who have yet to know about the Q movement, it began at the birth of the Trump rise to the prominance. The Q movement began on 4Chan in October 2017. It started with a mysterious poster named “Q.” That person claimed to be a government agent with ultra top-secret information. That person also said that he or she was on a mission to take down the so-called “deep state.”

17

Over the years, Q has been lauded, applauded and denigrated in equal measure. Those who do not  believe in Q mock and ridicule those, like me, who believe that someone, somewhere, has our backs. There have been so many posts from Q that we believers acknowledge that Q is a group of people and that Q+ is President Trump.

But the one thing that has been constant in Q's posts is the number 17. Why? Why 17?

Could it be as simple as the biblical reference to John 17:17?  Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth

If we accept that truth, then everything falls in to place, what with this current election fiasco.

Is this as simple as Q telling us that we need to seek the truth?

Right now, in America, States are trying to find out the truth about the recent American elections.

Without the word, truth can surely never be told?

Our words have been manipulated, changed and modified to mean what they were never intended to mean. Cool is hot and hot is cool.

Wicked is something someone says when they like something. Gay is no longer happy. It means homosexual. A rainbow is no longer a symbol of a sign from God. It is a symbol of sexual preference.

I am reminded of the opening lines from Charles Dicken's great novel, a Tale of Two Cities.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to Heaven, we were all going direct the other way "

This group of words, put together as they were, pretty much sum up where we are right now.

We are in the best of times and worst of times.

We are in the spring of hope and the winter of despair.

So much to believe in and yet so much of which we should be fearful.

Words.  Beautiful, magnificent and humming like music in our minds.

Yet, today, we are having our words stolen, churned in to word machines and tossed out the other end as something that we never intended. Much like our votes.

I often read things on line where someone says " like, I am so, like, wow, really? And I go, like, man, this is awesome dude and I want to, like, yeah, say yeah, I am with you bro. "

In my day, I would have said " I agree. "

Words are being sold cheap. Words are being traded like cheap barter chips and our vocabularies are shrinking.

You know why?

Because if you take away people's words, you are stealing their truth.

When Q highlighted the number 17, it was as simple as highlighting John 17:17.

Truth.

What are we seeing today? Suppression of the truth.

You do not need to know about Q or believe in Q. What is important is to simply believe in the power of the word, the power of truth and that it will always prevail.

The power of 17:17 and the power of 1. " In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1 "

Maybe these hearings are all about finding the truth?

If so, Q has done a fine job.
